As more companies embrace a remote work culture, organizing team events that bring the team together and promote company culture is becoming increasingly important. The Worktripp team found that most companies struggle to organize their events because they have to engage numerous vendors across multiple platforms. Their goal was to create a single platform to handle the entire organizing process of team offsites.
To gather the initial requirements of the Worktripp team and better understand the needs of the end users, we conducted a workshop where we recorded the history of the platform. After that, we focused on developing the platform’s MVP, whose main goal was to include different types of providers essential for creating a company’s website, to list their services with all the necessary information. To achieve exceptional results and ensure accurate service, we built WorkTripp on Sharetribe and WordPress. In addition, the marketplace was supported by plugins such as Twilio, which personalize customer communication through various channels.
Over time, the platform has evolved to include custom listing types for 5 different types of vendors and a more comprehensive offsite creation process. Now the Worktripp community consists of certified and specialized trainers, facilitators, speakers, venues, and experiences. They help users find what they are looking for and create positive change within an organization.
